Guarantor Form

    In consideration of the grant of a tenancy of

    Share of Rent: the proportion of the Rent that would be due from any one Individual Tenant if the Rent for the whole Property were divided by the number of Individual Tenants and each Individual Tenant were only liable to pay his or her equal share of the Rent, and not the whole.

    I hereby do indemnify The Landlord of the above address against any default in the payment of the Individual Tenant’s Share of Rent. I shall not be liable to make good any arrears of rent caused by the default of any of other Tenant who has not paid his/ her Share of Rent. My liability for Rent under this Guarantee shall not exceed the Individual Tenant’s Share of Rent. Nothing in this Guarantee removes the Individual Tenant’s joint and several liability for the whole Rent.

    I hereby do indemnify The Landlord of the above address against any damages that he is entitled to recover for the use of occupation, damages for repairs, other damages that may occur as a result of the said tenancy or of any further occupation of the property after the expiry of the tenancy whether under statutory continuation thereof or not. My liability shall be limited to a proportionate share of the damages that the Landlord of the above address shall be entitled to recover from the Tenant, such proportion to be calculated in the same manner as the Share of Rent above. Nothing in this Guarantee removes the Individual Tenant’s joint and several liability to the landlord for the whole of any damages.
